Wondering if it’s time for new tires? One way to tell is to insert a nickel into the tire thread, head first. If you can see all of the Queen’s head, it’s time for new tires.
But, tire tread isn’t the only indicator of problems. If your tires are more heavily worn on one side, you may also have wheel alignment issues. That won’t be solved with a set of new tires.
When you visit Master Tune, our technicians will inspect, rotate, and balance your tires. When it’s time to replace them, we will determine correct size and type of tire your vehicle will need based on vehicle type and the type of driving that you do.

Rotate regularly – This will extend the life of your tires.
Proper Inflation – Your tire will typically lose 1 psi each month. Temperature can also play a large roll in tire inflation as a drop of 10° can reduce pressure by 1 psi. Low tire pressure can reduce gas mileage and excessive heat can cause tire damage.
